My family of 38 had an early Thanksgiving celebration this past weekend which was catered. Abrams did a super job! Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The meal consisted of generous portions of turkey, dressing, gravy, fried chicken, yams, vegetables, and desert. We were very pleased at how well everything turned out. The fried chicken was especially good with just the right amount of seasoning and breading. The delivery went well with the food hot and well packed. Cathy did an excellent job! Thank you for making this day special.
This place never disappoints! Sometimes you have to wait awhile especially in the drive thru but it's worth it. Everything from the fried chicken and mash to the fish and wedges are amazing including the staff. I wasn't sure about the fish the day because some places have fishy fish and it was so fresh and the price was great. I recommend Abrams to anyone.
This isn't the best Abrams I've been to, but it's still pretty good considering the lack of options in the area. The ribs are really good, and the fried chicken is perfect! Surprisingly I liked the yellow squash. Place gets really busy on Sundays after church lets out. I like that the bathrooms are clean, but they need to do a better job at cleaning the soda machine.
Abrams is a buffet style restaurant featuring Carolina Barbecue and fried chicken. I love that they dish up the buffet so people aren't digging into the food with germs. Very clean. The BBQ is the best in Ahoskie. It's tender and moist but not overly sloppy. The fried chicken is juicy with a crisp well seasoned coating. I eat here about once a week. I keep coming back because of the delicious food, friendly service, and convenient location.
